Plans are complete to have Gor Mahia FC tour Nyanza
Plans to have Gor Mahia FC tour Nyanza province are complete. The peak of the tour will be at Kisumu's Moi stadium where they will play an international friendly match against Express FC of Uganda on December 19th 2009 before travelling to Homa Bay to meet a local side at Homa Bay Municipal stadium the following day.
On December 21st, they will meet Siaya Combined at Siaya Municipal stadium before being hosted by club Chairman for an early Xmas party the following day at his home. Players will then be officially released on December 23rd to join their families for Xmas and new year celebrations before assembling in the second week of January 2010 for the preparation of the new season. This arrangement will be preceded by a 'beefing up the squad' exercise to be held at the training ground as from December 1st for the next two weeks.
