Munro declines TV Interview
Faced with mounting pressure to resign as Chairman of Mathare United and any association with the Kenyan Premier League due to his role in the current state of Kenyan Football, Bob Munro has once again turned down a live TV interview with a local station, for like the hundredth time.

Since 2005, various TV stations have been inviting Bob Munro for live TV debates on Kenyan Football, invites he has turned down preferring to instead send long e-mails and make long telephone calls to journalists.

Many journalists and citizens alike simply wanted to find out why he played a leading role in the creation of Football Kenya Limited (FKL), after it emerged that his lawyers and he himself personally drafted the FKL constitution.

But the Canadian has continued to decline TV interviews, fueling speculation that he has something to hide, or that he has indeed been receiving a cut from monies made by FKL at the expense of Kenyan Football.

"Only crooks and corrupt individuals avoid TV interviews, because they have alot to hide," KFF Chairman Sam Nyamweya had told KenyaFootball.com

"I have nothing to hide and I am ready to be hosted in a Live-TV debate to discuss about my case in CAS, but (Bob) Munro should also be present to discuss why he coerced KPL clubs into accepting FKL when they had formally rejected it," he added.

In KPL minutes availed to KenyaFootball.com, Munro is on record pleading with the KPL Board to give FKL more time to "reform" and that he trusts Mohammed Hatimy. All board members and members of the Senior Management Committee also confirm hearing the same prayer from Mr. Munro.

In light of these serious accusations, we find it only fair that the Canadian Immigrant explains to the Kenyan Public why he has been at the forefront supporting FKL, if not for the money that he has been receiving in kickbacks from Mohammed Hatimy.
