FKL Receive 11 Million from CAF
Football Kenya Limited mandarins have received over Kshs. 11 Million from Continental Governing Body CAF, in the last part of their TV Rights sponsorship.

The monies totals to Kshs. 30 Million they have received from CAF this whole year.

The last part of their amount totaled $152,161."

But CAF made some statutory deductions and what remained was US$ 149,161.00 (11,187,075.00)

It was wired to their Standard Chartered Koinange Street Bank Account on December 7th 2009.

A source who had been close to Hatimy indicated that he had arranged a small percentage of the funds to be delivered to the Prime Minister's office in an envelope, as a token of appreciation for his unwavering support during the turbulent 2009 year.

Raila had written no less than three letters to FIFA President Sepp Blatter stating that the Government only recognized FKL.

It is still unclear if the same delivery of the envelope with the money happened.

According to the sources, FKL Vice Chairman Titus Kasuve who had been facing dire financial constraints after his Kraal Hotel in Athi River was flattened for being in a road-reserve, purchased a new vehicle.

Previously, Kasuve used to borrow lifts.
